Irish Chamber

Blue skies set the scene for our Summer BBQ

Date:
Monday, July 1, 2019
The weather gods smiled on our inaugural Summer BBQ, kindly hosted by the Australian Ambassador at Abbey Lea and sponsored by Harvey Norman Ireland. Clear blue skies and temperatures not unfamiliar to our Australian guests set the scene for a very agreeable evening of networking over summer cocktails, Aussie meat on the BBQ courtesy of Meat & Livestock Australia, gelato for afters and even a special guest appearance from the legendary Killiney Koala, found lurking around the Chamber banners!

The evening served to highlight once more the multi-faceted and deepening connection between our two great countries and the business opportunities being unlocked through the network here and in Australia.

Thanks to Harvey Norman, we had a great photographer on hand to capture some of the great moments on the night, shared below.

We hope that the Summer BBQ will become just as popular a fixture in the Irish business calendar as the Australia Day Corporate Lunch.
