Vincent Crowley (61) has had extensive executive and non-executive experience. A chartered accountant, he worked in KPMG and Arthur Andersen before joining Independent News & Media PLC (“INM”) in 1990. He held a variety of roles in INM, including CFO and CEO of APN News & Media (an Australian PLC), chief executive of the Irish division of INM and COO and CEO of INM. As CEO of INM, he successfully completed a major divestment programme and restructuring of the group. He retired from INM in May, 2014. He spent six years living in Australia during his tenure in APN and remained on the board of APN until May, 2015. He is currently chairman of Newsbrands Ireland (the national newspaper industry body), is executive chairman of Altas Investments PLC (formerly NTR PLC) and a non-executive director of C&C Group and Inner City Enterprise.
